This past winter I've admired a grand Valley Oak at the curve on Horseshoe Bar Road, near where it intersects with Laird Road. In the summer, all leafed out, it is wonderful. But in the winter without a leaf in sight, you can see all the contorted structure of great branches, smaller branches, branchlets, and twigs. That's what I tried to capture here. 230602.
