| Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay is gorgeous! This is a view of Emerald Bay from the north, looking south. The jewel is Fanette Island, which had a tea house built on its summit in 1928-29 about the same time as Vikingsholm was being built on the west shore of the bay.
