| At Drake's Bay during a 2015 anniversary trip to Pt. Reyes, Jean photographed lots of rocks and the patterns made as the waves receded. I made this by masking the white, then pouring successively with thalo blue, burnt umber, alizarin crimson, and cerulean blue -- each mixed with Winsor Newton "granulation medium" to simulate the sand.
