| Several years ago I took photos of Azaleas or Coast Rhododendron () among the redwoods at Mt. Hermon Conference Center, near Felton, Califonia. They have such graceful stamens and pistil. I painted this on very rough, very absorbent, heavy handmade paper. I don't think I'll use this paper again, because it's so unforgiving. Watercolor, 14.5" x 10.5". |
