| I had enjoyed painting a poinsettia a couple of years ago, so I decided to try it again, larger this time. I started with some photos of a large poinsettia plant at Tina Heck's home -- flooded by light. Then I painted it trying to catch the lights and darks, especially the light on the top leaves.
